How can you stop your teeth from rotting from the inside out?

Children's rotting teeth?

  • a year ago my then 2 year old son had his two front teeth removed due to rotting. i was told they had rotted because he still had bottle of juice in the evenings. i stopped him having bottles then. now a year on his teeth next to where his front ones would be are rotting as are the teeth next to them. my dentist has told my it is bad dental hygiene. i brush his teeth with the approved toothpaste every morning and evening so it can't be that, i am convinced there must be another cause. i have tried other dentists they say the same i feel no one is listening. i have two older children and their teeth are fine. can anyone help i'm desperate for someone to listen and believe me.

There could be a few other reasons, Does he drink alot of soda or juice? Does he chew on lemons? Anything like this will cause erosion for the acid. After you brush his teeth he shouldn't eat anything and only drink water.. Sometimes kids eat or drink in the middle of the night. (I had a patient with this exact same situation and she found tons of apples under his bed that he was eating in the middle of the night). Does he have acid reflux, this could cause the erosion of his teeth. And if nothing else it could just be he has week enamel. I would defiantly recommend Fluoride. Alot of kids like the gummy vitamins that have fluoride in them.

I hope he's getting enough milk and that he's not drinking soda. It sounds like you don't have flouride in your water. Kids that have flouride have no cavities. Your dentist can give you a prescription.

Do not use fluoride! They are not even sure it works to prevent cavities and its toxic crap! My son had the same thing (although not as severe) and no one believed me either. What I found was that he would take a sip of something and hold it in his mouth as he went about his day. Little turkey! Try getting some natural toothpaste alternatives like toothsoap. They are much better for a healthy mouth. You should be using them too! Try giving him fewer grains and sugars and processed foods. Good luck!

Try letting him drink milk..its supposed to help with teeth right?....=)
