What can cause a sore jaw?

My jaw hurts.. what might cause it and now i can stop it?

you might have tmj. If your doc. tells you that - go to the drug store they have things for that. I spent over $2,000 to go to a TMJ doc. and she just screwed up my jaw AND she new it .

You probably grind your teeth at night or when you eat, you open your mouth wide that can make your jaw hurts. What you can do is take some Ibuprofen to reduce the pain. If you do grind your teeth at night, I advice you to buy a night guard and only a dentist can get you one.

It might be a tooth that is making it hurt.
