What is the strongest wire you can have on your braces?

WHAT ARE THE ODDS OF ME BREAKING A WIRE FROM MY BRACES?

  • or just breaking my braces in general. i've had them for about a year and i've only broken a bracket once, and a wire once. i eat just about everything im not suppost to except hard candy..not a big fan of it. i chew gum only once in a while but i LOVE foods like bacon, steak, ect..and my favorite beverages is pepsi. excatly how strong are braces?

    You can pretty much eat anything as long as you're careful. I had braces for 5 years and only broke 2 brackets and no wires.

Holy crap. Do you realize how much your parents are paying for your braces? You're totally ungrateful. I hope your parents take you to the orthodontist to have them ripped out of your head and you have funky teeth the rest of your life. And I've broken brackets and wires. Never due to things I wasn't supposed to be eating though. Sometimes it just happens. I can't imagine why you'd ever deliberately disobey when it comes to something so important. You obviously aren't mature enough for this responsibility.

I've had my braces for almost a year and thankfully ive never broken a wire or a bracket, touch wood. If you're going to drink pepsi make sure its diet.

Well i took mine off by myself with pliers lol so they must not be that strong lol.
