it depends on what your mouth is like. you will see white in your gums on the top very high and on the bottom very low. that is just what happened to me and i need braces to fix that.it will probally hurt a lot.i asked my orthodontist the same question just a few days ago. mine are coming in and they hurt a lot.i have a small mouth and i had my baby wisdom teeth pulled
