  • Answer:

Your gums will overgrow due to plaque/food debris that builds up on the teeth; therefore, cause gingivitis. Carefully and thoroughly brushing after each meal and daily flossing will help. It is very common to see this with braces because it attracts food and plaque and makes it harder for the person to brush/floss thoroughly.

Since I couldn't see the picture as clear, from what I see it looks pretty normal so i think its just your braces irritating/rubbing against your gums because of the close contact. Is it painful?? and did you just get your braces put in?
