Are white strips really bad for your teeth?

Whitening strips bad for teeth with weak ennamel?

  • Ok so I apparently have weak ennamel on my teeth, and despite my vigorous efforts to keep them clean and white and so forth, a few of them seem like yellow/stained and no matter how much I brush them (with tooth paste that's supposed to whiten teeth) the yellow tint won't go away. So I wanted to try whitening strips or something of the sort, but my question is, could this further damage my teeth? I've heard that you should not use whitening strips if you have weak ennamel. I just really don't know what to do though because I really don't want to walk around with my teeth like this. So if anyone has any other suggestions, that would be good. Thanks.

Whitening toothpaste will not do much for you. I would go and see my dentist and ask for his/her opinion and he may be able to give you a product that will work well for you.
