How long will I have to wait to get braces after a Wisdom teeth removal?

• I'm going to get all 4 of my submerged wisdom teeth removed and was wondering how long I would need to wait before seeing a doctor about braces. Some people told me that I'd need to wait 6+ months after they are removed to see how my mouth sets (or for my teeth to settle). I'd hate to get braces then when they are removed however long later... my teeth reset cause of the empty space back there and ruin all the hard work. I'm not sure if that's how it'll work, but I'd like to know ahead of time. First thing to do is to remove my wisdom teeth though, but I really do want/need braces. Some of my teeth require more work than they should to clean because they sit on top of other teeth. :(

  Nature will know how long it will take for the wisdom teeth that were removed to fill in the gap they left. Your braces won't go all the way to the end of your gum space anyhow. It might take 4 months or it might take 3 months. Also, braces can stay on for different lengths of time. Be sure you keep up with your dental check ups. It is not a comfortable process at first, but as long as you have braces, consider yourself lucky. Lots of people should have had them and their parents could not afford them. Or insurance didn't cover having them. Wait about two months before seeing an orthodontist after having the wisdom teeth pulled.
