Are white strips really bad for your teeth?

White strips are making my teeth hurt?

  • This is the first time that i have use the crest white strips on my teeth in a very long time ( a year or two ) i do like the instructions on the box say and put the white strips on for 30 minutes a day, but they are making my teeth hurt.. it's like a pain that u get if u have sensitive teeth but this doesn't go away. I'm wanting to know does anyone know anything about this and if so is it going to end up damaging my teeth? what, if anything, do i need to do differently?

    Well the same thing happened to me, and I went to my dentist & he said I was leaving them on for too long, so what I would do if I was you I would put them of for less time.

it can eat the enamal on your teeth making them more sensitive than they were, i would stop useing them.

That's because white strips are known to make your teeth sensitive (my dentist told me when I complained about it after using only 1 white strip). Either stop using the strips OR start using toothpaste for sensitive teeth.
