How (what different technique) should I brush my teeth using an ELECTRIC toothbrush vs. a regular toothbrush?

In my hard water (I tap water from my fresh water well) how / if "differently" should I brush my teeth? I have normally brushed very hard on my teeth for years.   You could try to brush the teeth tooth by tooth. Spend some seconds on every tooth and then continues to the next one. Try not to brush as hard as you have been doing, it's not very good for the gums. Regarding the song, I think you should choose a song around 2 minutes long, because that's the approximate time you should spend on brushing your teeth.
