Wisdom teeth: removed stitches myself?
-
Hey guys, just got my wisdom teeth removed on Thursday (about three days ago). They were non impacted if that makes any difference. Anyways, I got stitches and two sets of them were really bothering me, I think the dentist stitched my gum to my cheek. I ended up removing all the stitches myself. Should I be fine? My appointment to get the stitches removed was scheduled for two weeks after the surgery, no idea why they didn't use dissolvable stitches.

Answer:
i don't think you should have removed the stitches, that was too soon, i hope your gums are healing right, you need to go to the dentist to be sure.
