Do I need to remove wisdom teeth?

How do you know if you need to remove your wisdom teeth? Any dentists?

• So I went to the dentist for the 6 month clean up. The guy who was cleaning them asked me if my orthodontist had ever told me I would need to remove my wisdom teeth and I told him no. He then told me that the main dentist person was going to tell my mom that they would need to be removed, but he said to tell my mom not to agree to it. I'm thinking that the dentist is just trying to force me to get them out for the money. My wisdom teeth haven't even come out yet!!! The main dentist is also the owner of the business along with his wife, who was the one telling my mom I'd need them removed. They also made my sister remove hers, though they didn't even hurt her? What should I do? Is there a dentist bureau I could ask to investigate? kind of extreme, i know, but I have a feeling they're scamming people..

  If there is not enough room in your mouth or they are going to come in sideways then yes you need them out.
