Answer:
If it is the very back tooth in the row then it is a wisdom tooth. Teeth implants can be used to replace missing teeth but that depends on the individual circumstances of the patient, it is not always possible. You need a good quantity and quality of bone to graft the implant to, and then your mouth and gums need to be in a good level of hygiene. There are also certain medical barriers to inserting teeth implants such as gum disease, heavy smoking, etc. Your dentist has likely concluded that you are not suitable for a teeth implant. You can seek a second opinion simply by registering with another dentist, but the advice may well be the same.

don't worry, they are wisdom teeth, many many people get them removed. as humans have evolved, our mouths have gotten smaller and many don't have room for 32 teeth. it's totally normal and you don't need them. if you google 'wisdom teeth' in images, you will see how it grows in and why so many people need it removed (it grows sideways, can be painful, and can damage and move your other teeth. they can also lead to infection.) really, if your dentist thought they needed to be removed, they're probably right. it's not due to you not taking care of your teeth!
it's true .I also went through this
the last teeth are the wisdom teeth and are used very less in chewing. the wisdom teeth very rarely meet each other in opposite jaws.that is why they are not replaced. the 1st and 2nd molar teeth are the main chewing teeth which help in eating.
Okay, don't worry. It is not a problem if you have it pulled, anyhow,a lot don't have it or even pulled it out too upon necessity.Wisdom tooth is not important as the molar tooth.Relax a little bit yet wisdom tooth completes our set of teeth. But if you really wanted to complete your set,do an implant.Tooth implant is best way of having the lost tooth yet it is quite REAL expensive. So,think of it.Good luck!
