How can I get rid of the stains and streaks on my teeth?

• My teeth are white, even after I had my braces removed. But after I used some whitening strips, some parts whitened while others stayed the same color. I thought it looked stupid so I went to have them bleached professionally. Im not sure what its called but I used the bright light on my teeth. Afterwards, my teeth were whiter except for the streaks again! I wear a clear retainer every night to bed, and if I don't wear it then the streaks are more visible. It's really embarassing. How do I get rid of them for good? Any home remedies? I would get them bleached again but it hurt so much so I don't want to!
