How painful are braces?

On a scale of 1-10 how painful are damon braces?

  Ok well, I get my braces off tomorrow, YAY! Well, to be honest pain is different for everyone, but for most, getting braces on hurts alot! On a scale, most would say 9 or 10. But this is only because when you get ur braces on, your teeth are being forced to shift and move from the natral place. So all the roots and everthing else have to shift and move around to a different position. But as for a little advice, take some adsprin or tylonal before you go so that it will kick in right before most of the pain starts. Also take some afterwards. But don OD! :D And another tip: get some DARK colors, they contrast with your teeth makeing them look extra brighter and white! I always got dark blue, it looked good, and made my teeth lok so white!!! NEVER get CLEAR or WHITE!!!!! They stain with whater you eat makeing you look like your teeth are cheesing! XD Found that out the hard way!! I hope I have helped ease your mind, but remeber it will all be worth it when you have a great BEAUTIFUL smile!
