What if I don't get my wisdom teeth taken out?

its very bad to leave them in if your dentist or oral surgeon thinks its a problem. if there isn't enough room in your mouth your root will start growing down instead of the tooth erupting into the mouth and if the root keeps growing it can mess with the nerve that runs in your jaw and you can actually get facial paralysis. very rarely does that happen but its more painful to not get them out. you will be in a life time of pain dealing with them coming in. versus a few days of pain when you get them out. dont be a whimp and just eat. I even had dry sockets and I have had much worse pain. you will survive.

It depends on your mouth and teeth. Some people don't need to get them out if they have enough space for the wisdom teeth to grow in. Most people need to remove them as they don't have enough space. If you don't have enough space in your mouth, your wisdom teeth will push your other teeth and can cause them to become crooked. You wisdom teeth can also grow in sideways and they hurt like hell when this happens. Getting them out hurts, but it's only for a day or so. See your dentist to see what they recommend. That's better than taking the risk of having crooked teeth.
