What is the strongest wire you can have on your braces?

HELP! The wire on my braces is bent, what should i do?

  • So I was eating food today, and apparently, I bit on my wire with help from the food and the wire is all bent now. The wire is supposed to to be attached to every teeth but the wire came out of one tooth, and its bent really badly. Think of it like this, normally the wire is like - - - -, but now its like - - U - - So the wire is still attached and the bend is in between 2 of my tooth. My orthodontist is in NY and I attend school in Boston, I probably wont get for another 2-3 days, what should I do in the mean time? Thanks for whatever help you can give, S.Y

  • Answer:

You can not do anything yourself. If your dentist is in NY then you can try some local dentist and he may help you out in fixing it. If he can not put new wire then atleat he can remove the wire as the bend in the wire can cause unwanted movement of teeth. for more information on braces you can visit www.identalhub.com
