Answer:
Oh, wisdom teeth. Aren't they great? Haha. Yes, they hurt... ALOT. not to scare you, but yeah. They should put you to sleep. Either that or they put you under a lot a lot of freezing. You don't have to get stitches. If I were you, then I would get all 4 done at once because then you can just get it over with. The only good thing about it is that you get to eat lots of ice-cream and smoothies! :D Good luck; I hope this helps! :)

It is best to get all 4 out at once, cause then you get it over with but you also don't have to pay for the anesthesia twice!!! Like everybody else said, if you go to an oral surgeon then they do put you out (usually a sedation or completely asleep). At our office, we do put stitches in on the bottom, if your wisdom tooth it completely impacted or partially impacted. Also, as far as the pain goes, they'll prescribe you something for pain so it shouldn't be too bad.
They will answer all you questions. I was put to sleep to get mine out, and I had all 4 done at the same time. mine were impacted as well. Yes, it is very painful. no stitches necessary
No if you're awake you feel pressure as the wisdom teeth are being extracted. I wasn't asleep for the extraction, I was awake for the whole thing, just numbed up good before the extraction. I had all three wisdom teeth pulled at once, didn't need stitches either. It's better off having all the wisdom teeth pulled out at once, get over and done with.
Yes they put you to sleep if you go to an oral surgeon. If you go to a regular dentist, they won't. Call your dentist/oral surgeon and ask them. Then you won't be worried about it all this time while you wait.
It's better to do it all in one shot. When I got mine removed I chose to be put under cuz I was afraid & didn't want to deal with it, but that cost extra and you'll have to talk to your ortho about that. Healing time I think was about a week or so and I did have stitches but they weren't so bad. What sucked the most was the swelling, but at least he gave me Vicodin. Good luck.
Yes. yes. Yes. With all the anesthetic they put you under with and the pain pills, you should be fine. Once you're under you don't feel a thing. Yes, they have to put stitches in, but you can feel them. Just don't do any hard physical activity or you'll pop them. You will be sore but that's what the pills are for. eat soft stuff. And NO ketchup, BBQ sauce etc. eat jello and pudding and ice cream.
