How can I get porcelain veneers?

I have to get porcelain veneers but?...?

  • alright so i have to get porcelain veneers they will cost me about 4600$ i'm 15 does anything think this is a good idea to get them right now? i mean i'm just 15 and they cost alot and also do you guys think they are worth cheaper i have to get 6 veneers on my front teeth

    Depends why you need the veneers. If you have an enamel problem that needs to be fixed, then you should go ahead and get them or crowns. The downfall of veneers is if you drink anything dark like coffee, pop, tea, wine or use tobacco it causes staining around veneers and will look awful in 5-10 years and need to be replaced. Also, if you brush too hard or use a medium/hard bristled toothbrush, you can cause recession around veneers. Crowns offer more coverage b/c they completely cover the teeth and usually last longer, but more tooth structure must be removed. If you are getting veneers for looks, you may want to wait until you are older.
