Is a electric airsoft gun better than green gas/co2?

    In terms of an AEG over a GBBR, electric wins over gas. When it comes down to rifles, AEGs are better because, simply put, they are more reliable. Gas rifles are best use for their realistic feature, but AEGs use a rechargeable battery and a motor to use the gun. Gas guns involve using green gas and CO2 and they cost a lot more; the gun itself, mags, gas, and parts, all of it is expensive. They are more fun to use, but AEGs are far more practical to use. Gas rifles use up a lot of gas and green gas is expensive. Gas guns also tend to have more problems and the issues with gas guns are much more difficult to resolve. However, when it comes down to pistols, gas is the way to go. There are quality AEPs out there, but GBB pistols are definitely much more reliable. GBB pistols don't use up too much gas and are worth the money,

Airsoft guns are replica firearms that shoot plastic pellets (also known as BBs) by way of compressed gas, electric motors, or spring-driven pistons. Depending on the mechanism driving the pellet, an airsoft gun can be operated manually or cycled by either compressed gas such as Green Gas (propane+silicone mix), or CO2, a spring, or an electric motor, but are ultimately fired from a piston compressing a pocket of air. All these products are designed to be non-lethal out-of-the-factory and to provide realistic replicas. It depends on what type of gun you are using. Refer to the manual. I would say that Green gas would be better than CO2 because it keeps your gun in better condition, but use CO2 if your gun suggests that you should use HFC 134a.
