    I don't think that's how you get lactose intolerant. My older sister drinks two cups of milk everyday for the past 14 years. She is perfectly healthy and not allgeric. Gene's are the only way to get lactose intolerant.

i'm actually lactose intolerant now, i'm not sure if you get allergic from drinking too mutch but i used to have 2-3 bowls of 6 wheatbix every normal weekday as a kid ( i'm 6'5 now and that's probably why ) and now smelling milk makes me ill >.> and btw, being allergic and intolerant are different, with my intolerance i can still drink milk but just not alot.. otherwise i get a sore stomach diarrhea and bloated.

no but you can have a lactose intollerance that comes and goes. Don't know why but it happens to lots of folks. This week everything is fine and next week milk makes them bloated and gassy. My husband was like that.
