Answer:
Coffee, like many other drinks (beer, energy drinks, etc.), has an acquired taste that takes getting used to. It will naturally have a bitter taste however you brew it. Pretty much the best options you have are to either add fat (cream/milk/half n half) or sugar (sugar, hershey's chocolate syrup, caramel, etc) to it. Most people use a combination of the two and as for the amounts of each, that is up to your own preference. If you have a sweet tooth, then go ahead and put more sugar. Needless to say the more sugar/fat you add to your coffee the more unhealthy it will be so add in moderation...

Adding hot cocoa isnt your best route for this. If you want the chocolately taste, try getting a mocha coffee from dunkin donuts. (tastes the best in an iced coffee but they will also add it to hot coffee) and if it's still too strong keep adding sugar until its sweet enough. I just don't recommend this though. You might as well fill a cup of chocolate and sugar and then add a few drops of coffee lmao !! But seriously if you have to sugar your coffee up sooo much to take the actual taste out of the coffee then I don't think you should be drinking it. And yes there is vanilla coffee, also at dunkin donuts. They have vanilla, mocha, caramel, caramel turtle, and a few others.

try putting peices of chocolate in hot coffee so it melts. or you could even add candy canes to get a peppermint taste. try adding things like nutmeg cinnomin, different types of extracts like vanilla coconut or almond...or you could add coconut flakes, cocao powder and sugar like you said, protein powder, whipped cream, regular cream..experiment with things and see what you like. i like to add a little bit of coffee to a bunch of small cups and put different things in each to see which is best.

Diminish the amount of the coffee. I use 1 spoon of coffee for I cup, so what you can do is use 1 spoon of coffee for 2 cups of water(: and stick with watever amount of sweetener you already use cause too much sweet also ruins the taste

I put a half package of cocoa with marshmallows in a large mug of expresso and I think its fine. One ounce store brand pkg. OR, just buy a pkg of vivarin which is 200 mgs of caffeine versus about 85mgs per coffee, sometimes I'll just take half a tablet.
