Victor Vinyl Records?

• I've recently came across some Victor Vinyl Records from the early 1900's and I was wondering if anyone knew of any sites where you can look up like the value of them. Some of them are one sided and some are double sided. They 78's and varies in years from 1900 - up too 1930. Any help would be great-full I found the victor website but they don't tell ya much some of the records that I have don't even have Release Dates listed or Delete (Cutout) Dates. So I'm not sure what is up with those records, they are mostly the one sided records that have no dates listed on the victor site.

  I have some myself, and 78's are hard to judge in value. It kind of depends on what you got. The only book I know of (besides discography's) for determining value is "American Premium Record Guide 1900-1965" by Les Docks in Texas. I have the fifth edition, but there is one final edition available (his last). Be forewarned. Most collectors agree that this book is by far not the most comprehensive. It is mostly based on his personal collection, and many 78's are not listed. He also has a personal want list. His web address is: http://docks.home.texas.net/ Having said all that, what you have and what condition they are in will actually determine value. 78 collectors market is small, but are avid collectors if you have something very rare or desirable. The 78 collectors have varied tastes. Some collect a music genre, some collect obscure labels. Make a list of your records by artist, song, label, and record number.
