Sweet Sixteen party ideas?

• I'm fifteen, and I'll be turning sixteen later this year. I haven't had a birthday party since fifth grade, and would like to have a sweet sixteen party. Any ideas? *keep in mind, I don't want a huge party, and I'm not rich haha so i can't do anything too extravagant. I was thinking maybe a backyard barbeque or something...my aunt has a pool in her backyard and said I could have it there.

  Well you probably won't like this suggestion but I'll share it anyhow. How about having your party at the pool if you want to with nothing but girls who are 12 and under say 7 to 12....Make the party about them rather than about you and let them ask you what it's like to be 16 and get advice from you about life and what they have to look forward too. Now if you don't like that idea...ok here is one you should do no matter where you hold it and who you invite....MAKE SURE you have a digital camera and perferable one that can make movies for you so you can ALWAYS have that party and the memories from it. you can post a 10 minute clip of your party on youtube and let the world see you! Either way save the memories and burn them to a disk and better yet put them up in cyber space so they won't be lost over time! Good luck and Happy Birthday ahead of time!
