Is 19 too old to become a DJ? How do I start?

I want to become a DJ. I've been trying to figure out my passion FOREVER. I found this program online and I did a little mixing and I was like "This is what I want to do!" I feel a little discouraged being 19 and not having any experience, but I can start learning now, right? It's not too late is it? How do I start? What should I buy? Any advice would be helpful, thanks!

Its not too late, you should maybe shadow another DJ sometime. I'm sure someone would be happy to take you under their wings.

Forget online. You'll learn nothing relevant. "?" is right. Tag along with some real DJ's. You won't master anything sitting at home. If it's your dream, follow it. Don't look for it to be handed to you. And with the possible exception of dating 15 year-olds, joining the cub scouts, and playing Little League baseball, you're still young enough to do almost anything.
