What is the best blogging site?

  • I know of a lot of sites, I want to here from the pro bloggers, what sites they use, and why that blogging site is so good. Also, share your blog URL, I wouldn't mind checking it out to see if it really is what I could use.

    I'm not a problogger (just somewhat a "n00b") but many people use either blogger or wordpress. Im not sure of the benefits of blogger, but wordpress allows you to add plugins and downloads. It's also quite a customizable blogging site. Another site (even though it isn't the most powerfull) is http://tripod.com, which is what I use. I use the 20mb free account for my blog (T's geekware) and website (The ProgLog). The blogging tools are basic, if you like simplicity. Hypothetically, one could at least modify TinyMCE, which is used to type in blog entries. Other than that, few things to customize. You can buy a domain on advanced plans ($x/month). Check out my blog and website from http://tamkis.tripod.com/ (EXACTLY as shown). One more thing, at tripod.com somewhere is a download for a universal blog tool called "Qumana". I haven't tried it yet, but looks like a good tool, which can be used to type entries offline (and then upload via FTP to your blog)
