Is it possible to receive dish network programming on my pc?

Would U get Dish TV if U knew they destroy personal property sent in error, & do not pay. Who would Trust Um?

• First about Dish DVR: 1. Dish DVR records two channels at once, but only one is HD. DirecTV HD DVR will record two HD channels at once. 2. If the Dish DVR receiver is left on, the picture is replaced in the middle of the night with an annoying Dish logo on the screen. So, if you want to record a Dish recorded program to your VCR or DVD during that period, your program is replaced with the Dish logo. DirecTV receiver stays on if you leave it on. 3. Dish programming is limited to one week on their Guide. DirecTV has at least two weeks of programming information on their system. 4. Dish has HDMI, component and one analog. DirecTV DVR has output options for HDMI, component and two analog AV outputs that operate simultaneously. Last: I sent my DVD recorder to Dish Network instead of their receiver. They both looked the same and were out of my media tower as I was switching to DirecTV. They informed me it was destroyed and they would not compensate me for it. I was a loyal Dish TV customer for many years. I canceled only because I could not get consistent local HD TV even with trying three different antennae. I could not get Local HD from Dish Network as they required a second dish pointing at my neighbor’s trees, which could not receive their satellite’s signal. So, I received a box from them to return the receiver, etc by UPS. I discovered about a week later that I had sent my hard drive DVD recorder to them by mistake. When I discovered the error, I called them immediately. The bottom line: Dish has a policy to DESTROY all non-Dish equipment they receive. They make NO ATTEMPT to notify the customer in any way whatsoever. They make no attempt to compensate for the loss of personal property they destroy. I was stunned to say the least and infuriated that a company would treat others in this way, and even have a policy to put it into effect. Who could trust such a company that treats people this way. Their actions and policy speaks loudly to their care about people, customer satisfaction, their regard for the personal property of others. They cannot be bothered! Then, who would be bothered to do business with people like this?

  that's bs! i would call the better business bureau and report them. i used to have dish and i canceled it and so they sent me a box to return the dvr but didn't send a shipping label and they said they pay for return shipping, so i called them to request it. it has been months and they still have not sent one but they kept sending me bills telling me they were going to shut my service off if i didn't pay the bill and i had to call them about 4 times to tell them i had already canceled!!! i hate them! i have charter now.
