How to become a DJ?

I am 16 years old and want to become a digital DJ, how do make it happen?

  • I have a Numark Mixtrack Pro and a Kontrol X1 running Traktor Pro 2, using a packard bell easynote TM99. I have been making mixes and improving my skills for a few months now. I have always wanted to get into DJing as i have a passion for music but I don't know how to take it any further than uploading youtube videos onto my channel! I really want become a DJ as soon as possible, i believe that i should do something that a love, not a boring desk job in the city.. So, If anyone out there, that has become a digital DJ and could share some advise on how to make my dream come true, then that would be very helpful! Also, i have just created a new youtube channel (my old new was taken down)- http://www.youtube.com/user/NerfRemixes?feature=mhee I will be uploading some tracks onto it as soon as possible! share and care people :) Thanks.

    Are you a boy or a girl and maybe i could try promote you on my channel as soon as i find a bandmate email me some tracks maybe we could collaborate but 1st i could send the tracks to some radio stations and play your tracks at discos i could put some of them on file sharing websites and blog about them
