Where to go outside London?

Where should I go for a night out in London on my own?

  • I am going to be working temporarily in London later this year. I don't know anyone in London, or anywhere near London and I feel like if I am going to be living in London for a short while that I should make the most of it and have an all night out (8pm till 8am). I am single and 38 years old. Where are the best places I could go on my own as I would have no one else to go out with.

South side of the river thames is always busy. You can blend right in with no problems. Walk along from the London Eye towards Tower Bridge but pretty dead in the early hours. Westfield Shopping Centre is new, big and busy. You can blend in there too but not open that late so maybe no good for your purpose. As with nightclubs and bars......... errrm...... Tourist bars include, Tiger tiger in piccadilly, Roadhouse in covent garden, planet hollywood in piccadilly, or maybe hard rock cafe near park lane. You could also try and get into a casino. Really depends what you are into. There are also some famous and safe gentlemans clubs such as "Stringfellows". Top nightclubs these days include KOKO in camden, SE1 nightclub, Club Aquarium has a pool, Pacha London, Fabric London or maybe a posh bar in kensington called Boujis
