What should I get for my Gibson Les Paul?

Should I get the Gibson Les Paul Studio (Alpine White) or the Epiphone Les Paul Custom (Alpine White)?

I was originally ordering the Epi custom, but that got backordered and my grandmother insisted I have something to open X-mas morning, so she went and got the Guitar Center guy to give her a Gibson LP Studio in the same color, for only 100 dollars more (with the sale price). And if I don't like the Gibson, because I loved the way the Epi looked and played and felt, I can take the Gibson back and re-order the Epi. But what is your opinion? Which guitar do you think I should keep/get?

The Gibson you should keep. If you ever try to pawn or sell it later on, the Gibson will get more money than the Epiphone. Besides, Gibsons are better made and sound great
