How do I go about getting my GED?

How would I go about getting a GED in Ohio?

  • Well I'm 17 and will be 18 in October. I got kicked out of my school for truancy and I'm kind of a few grades behind due to getting expelled and going through to many suspensions and not being able to keep up with the work that I was behind in.. But how would I get a GED in Ohio? I am no longer enrolled into any school and I wanted to try and get my GED. I could go to school and graduate, but at the rate I'm going I couldn't get that done until I'm 22 LoL So I would much rather get a GED to start looking for a job.. So, how would I get this GED? Thanks

  • Answer:

The local community college may offer GED courses and more information as to when the next testing dates are to take place. For US colleges: http://www.utexas.edu/world/univ American Council on Education should have more information too: http://www.acenet.edu

Your public library should have information about getting a GED and where to take classes for it. Most CC do offer them. It is not an easy exam, you should take some classes to help you
