What are my chances of getting into penn state at university park?

  • I have a 3.35 gpa, 1740 SAT out of 2400 (1120 out of 1600), and am the secretary of the community service club at my school. I have 2 jobs also, lots of other volunteer work, other types of extra circulars and even a few years of sports. I'm also a minority if that helps. Please let me know!

    It is really hard to get into Penn State these days. I had a much higher GPA than you. My SAT scores were a little lower, but you just do not know. It does not hurt to apply, because you may just get in. Since Penn State is so large, I feel that they pretty much just look at your numbers (GPA, SAT, ACT, etc.) and choose that way. The larger school do not really care about what activities you do because there are so many applicants. Good luck and APPLY!
