Chance of getting into UCLA?

I went to UCSC (santa cruz) for my freshman year and got a 2.66 there. It wasnt hard I just had a lot of painful personal issues going on and all I thought about was leaving that place and going home and going to a different school so I just stopped trying. Then I went to Mesa Community College in San Diego for one year so far and have a 3.52. Whats my chances of getting in to UCLA for psychology? What the average GPA in that school for Psych? Im reallllly disappointed that that one year in UCSC hurt my GPA so much and I really regret going there. Do I still have a chance? Will UCLA look more at my community college GPA by any chance? Thanks!

you should visit an admissions counselor at UCLA, ... im sure they would provide you wid lots more info than I can. UCLA is a competitive school and im sure they're competitive in psych too. ... my other idea would be to actually call a UCLA psych professor on the phone or arrange a short meeting.
