Will a 3.75 gpa with a 25 on ACT get me into a good college?
-
I come from a private school with a good amount of smart kids and im in the 30%. I am very involved in the school with alot of extracurriculars. The only problem is i have 2 suspensions.... they arent for anything big though. Will this hinder my college selection?

Answer:
I don't think the suspensions will hinder you. If you have to mention them at all to colleges, just be as upfront as possible and try to spin it in your favor - everyone makes mistakes, you've learned from the experiences and become a better person as a result, etc. In terms of your scores, you're in good shape, as the average for the ACT is usually 21 or 22.

depends on your definition for "good". You certainly have a chance in most schools. But I would honestly recommend retaking the ACT's.. with a GPA that high a 25 is going to hold you back. (I was a slack student with a god awful GPA and pulled it out with ACT)
