How to create an advertisement for my English class?

• This was given for me as a 10 marks assignment!!!! so should i write the advertisement in paragraph or how advertisements are to be written if it was given like this for 10 marks assignment to be written in a sheet of paper!!! how to go about it!! any tips or suggestion would be of great help ...plz lemme know thanks

  Are you supposed to write an essay about an advertisement, or are you to create an advertisement? I'm guessing you should create the ad. In that case, you need to decide what you are going to advertise and what kind of an ad you are going to create. You can do something for print as in a magazine, or radio or TV. To get an idea of which one to choose, take a good look at each type of ad and decide which one appeals to you most. Then you have to decide what you are going to say about your product or service. In other words, why should I buy it? Will it make me look younger or more attractive? Will it improve my health or make some part of my life easier. Will it make my friends and neighbors envy me because I own one? That being done, you have to write your ad and use words and phrases that give that reason to the audience. Again, take a look at ads in magazines on radio and TV and see how professional advertising copy writers do it. Don't copy their words, but copy their style.
