Is it difficult to become a lawyer?

Still possible to turn my life around and become a lawyer?

  • I've been pretty lazy and undetermined in high school so far and i only have like a 78% overall average this year (junior), is it possible for me to become a lawyer? I have realized that I want to become one and stop being a lazy bum. My intelligence is not represented by my grades, I barely did homework and was really lazy and did quite well on the PSAT in comparison to those around me ( I did better than almost all of my friends), with a good SAT grade could i become a lawyer ? ( Dont take anything from how this is written its 6 am right now and i haven't been to bed yet

    University and high school work are very different. So what makes a person a good lawyer isn't just their ability at highschool. Yes, you could become a lawyer. There are probably many paths. For example, you study something in college, then apply for Harvard Law later, and so on. My suggestion is not worry too much about your school work as such, it is possibly too easy. Put some effort into other intellectual activities, join science clubs, work on various projects, get involved in political organisations (which means you will learn about politics and law)
