Would a 'W' on a transcript affect getting an internship/job with CIA?

If I take P.E. either in Soph. or Junior yr, does that look bad on my transcript for college?

  • Well, I'm not saying necessarily bad, but it doesn't enhance my transcript. My school gave me the list of classes that I was taking next yr (my junior yr), but when I was a sophomore, I was talking to my counselor & she said that I shouldn't take P.E. my Soph. yr because it doesn't count as any credits for College. She said that I should take Visual/Peforming Arts classes to enhance my transcript because it will count for something towards weighted/unweighted or so. I'm still unclear about that, so I got put in Photography my Soph. yr. I wanted to take Floral Design Junior yr because I wanted to work w/flowers & it's an AG class, so they let you take P.E. over the summer which I planned to do, but my counselor instead put my in Course 2 P.E. my Junior yr, but I was confused because she told my that P.E. does not enhance my transcript at all. I know that if I talk to my counselor in class changes, she would deny it because my counselor is very stubborn & she basically chooses my classes for me & she feels that she's doing what is best for me. - Should I talk to my counselor? OR Should I just take Course 2 P.E. Junior yr to get my P.E. Credits out of the way cus I don't want to be a Senior takin P.E. Either that or takin PE over the Summer. -Also, does taking P.E. Junior yr affect my transcript at ALL?

  • Answer:

You should take Photography over the summer.
