Is it too late so sign up for cyber school?

How could i go back to School? Or could i even go back to school? Is it too late?

• I'm 16. I was in the 9th grade when i "dropped out". The reason why i got out was cause i was missing a lot of days in the school i was going to AND because i wanted to switch to this other school because the school i was attending, i didn't like it there cause it was tooo strict. And so my mom had checked me out of the school (cause she didn't want to get a fine) and i wanted to go to the other one BUT my mom didn't want to put me in it because she thinks it's a "bad school" and because most of my friends go there and she didn't want me to be with them because she thinks alll my friends are "bad" when she has no reason to think that they are. (that's how my mom is :/) AND another reason was cause she didn't want to show her face for me no more meaning she didn't want to sign no more papers and all this stuff just for me to be in that school or any other particular school. She said she got tired of filling out papers. And well my dad was kinda okay with me going to that school but he didn't really want to sign any papers either and well cause he's always at work too. So i didn't know how i was gonna go back so i was like ill just stay out f*** it (at that time) And this was all in January of 2010, it's been a year since I've been out of school. And i always talk to my parents (well my dad mainly) about going back to school and he says he wants me to go to school and have an education and all this but he's scared that he might get a fine if he tried to put me back for me being out soo long. And like you know, it's not my fault for being out so long. If anyone it should be my moms cause she's the one that didn't want to "show her face for me no more with school stuff". So I'm wondering if anyone knows or thinks i could still go back without my parents getting a fine? Or what could i tell them to avoid getting a fine? So please help me out i really really want to go back to school, I was doing pretty good in school (grade-wise & behavior-wise) just the fact that i would miss a lot of days. So pleaseeee help, i would really appreciate it. Thank you!

  Well an answer to the question would depend on where you live and the laws that govern your school district about a fine. I would venture a guess that your parents wouldn't be fined if you dropped out and were trying to get back into school. Your best bet would be to call the administration of your district and ask them some questions over the phone and not reveal your name until they answer your questions. Personally, I would advise you to get back in school, you face some difficult obstacles without a proper education.
