How are SAT/ACT scores sent to colleges?

SAT QUESTION: I chose to send scores early?

  • So I took SATS and SATS subject tests. I chose to send them the minute I came home from taking the subject tests (the last test I took) and They gave you the option to send when scores are available so I opted for that that very minute. The scores were ready 3 weeks later and I'm wondering if they already sent to the colleges? Because I'm not sure if my colleges got them and I havent been notified. Collegeboard however notified me the day I chose to send them before the scores were able to be seen. Should I sent them again? Because I'm on the commonapp and it's not like commonapp has a status for SAT scores that were sent/not sent. Help please? I really don't know if they were sent.

  • Answer:

You never actually find out if your schools received your scores. Generally the school will notify you if they did not receive any materials for your application. If your still worried, you can always call the schools' admissions office- they are always happy to answer questions.

Other answers

You can always contact the office of admissions for the colleges. And colleges will take the higher school.
