How do i get good study habits?

i am now in high school and the work is so much more! i am generally a straight A occasional B student and i did get straight A's last quarter. i know that it sounds crazy but i have horrible study habits! it is so hard for me to get my homework done, and i procrastinate a lot! midterms are this week and i cant get focused on studying. i want to get good grades and succeed but i just cant get into some kind of schedule or routine. HELP PLEASE!!!

I know that I get distracted with the computer too much, and since I work often with my laptop, I get help but wind up on Facebook or... yahoo answers. I downloaded a program called "self-control" which blocks certain websites for a set amount of time. When ever I have to research or write an essay I set a timer for 45 minutes, blocking Y!A, Facebook and google... ect. What can be done today should not be left for tomorrow.
