What do I need to get into community college?

What do i need in order to get into a community college with a GED?

• I am 17 and i am taking the GED test in about 2 weeks...i wanted to enroll into school in the winter...(if thats even possible)...i wanted to know what i would need to do in order to be able to go to school to become a male nurse...i will most likely trying to get financial aide also...

  I reccomend you to college you plan to attend ,first . get familar with where offices are , like financial aid , you need to apply as soon as possible .Go before you enroll . tell them you need imformation about financial aid so you will know how much you can get. There may be more than one sourse of fin. aid. Go before you pass GED, they will ask you questions , give you answers for what you need to get financial aid. Same thing with addmissons office they can tell what you need in order to be admitted,or you can call, or go to the college website, get answers, cirriculum, schedule for classes, financial aid.etc. You should go to one of the academic advisors they help you find classes you need to take and when ,also best instructor/teacher for each class. I am thinking a community college is a 2 year program. however ,that may be all you need to get L.P.N. degree ,or certification. In my state you can go to a nursing school after h.s. and i think GED accepted. There is high need for Nurses. I beleive Nursing ed. is paid for. go online check out nurseing ed.even if you don't pass GED the first time , take it again.In the meantime you can get a nurses aid job. make sure you take a pretest before the actual GED test.
