What is digital dropout?

I want to dropout and get a GED to I could go to college earlier than what I'm supposed to is that possible?

  • want to drop out because highschool just isn't for me, and don't say how could u want to go to college already if you can't handle highschool. In college I can go to school around my schedule unlike highschool and that exactly what I need so I can spend more time raising my child.

  • Answer:

Take your time dont rush into things. College is kinda overrated. Yes you can make your own schedule. But most of the time depends on major your gonna be writing long term papers( 5 - 20 pages) , studying notes and researching. Which is very time consuming. Dont settle for a little GED when you can get the real diploma. College isnt going anywhere, but tuition is going up though.

Don't think that college will be easier when you are raising a child. You will need to work FULL TIME, and many of the classes you have will be at times that are inconvenient for you. You will constantly have to go to your boss and fix your schedules so that work does not interfere with your classes or other obligations. Trust me, you do not want to rush into this yet, because you will have to schedule your childraising around work and class... not the other way around. While you're in high school, people can take care of your child during the day (whether this be parents, babysitters, day care, whatever it is). Finish high school as best you can, and don't take the GED unless it is your only option.
