How can I increase my GPA?

How can a sophomore increase their GPA?

  • I'm a sophomore in high school and I'm just curious as to how I could increase my GPA from a 3.-- (I'm unsure of what my GPA is, all I can recall is that it's higher than 3.5, possibly around 3.8) to at least a 4.0. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The tone of your question implies you think there's some kind of magic trick or secret! Haven't got clue what scale you're using. What scale are you using? For example, if your school is on a 4 point scale, 4.0 will never happen, at least not on this planet! In college the scale is 0 - 4.0. There are no bonus points for special classes. >"(I'm unsure of what my GPA is..." Do you think it may be a good idea to find out and learn how to track it? You will have to pick up your performance! That means spending time getting extra help and learning new study skills and habits. Heck, sometimes just turning in assignments on time, not procrastinating and even using a spell checker can improve grades.
