Confused about my career.. Nursing?

What good colleges offers a bachelor degree in nursing? is there only one type of nursing?

  • i'm a junior right now and i'm trying to decide what path i want to take and i know for sure i want to be somewhere in the medical field but i just don't know what to choose since there are so many. so, my mom suggested nursing but i don't know any information of nursing and what they do specifically and etc. so, what do nursing do? and is there only one type of nursing? is nursing a beneficial career to take upon? what good colleges should i look at and apply to? what should i think about before choosing nursing as my career path? thank you so much and yes i'm a very confused junior who still don't know what i should do, i hope you guys can give me some suggestion and supports thank you very much. appreciate all your answers :)
