How should i calculate my gpa?
-
My high school has a trimester system and we do not receive ap credit for the 3rd trimester. Thus, the maximum gpa we can get for the third trimester is a 4.0 (even with straight A's) and that brings our yearly gpa down. Is there a special way to calculate gpa to make this fair for trimester schools? For example, if i get a "4.4" first trimester, "4.4" second trimester and then a "4.0" with the same grades and classes third trimester, i average a 4.26 while i would normally average a 4.4 at a semester school.
