Is it possible to change name on college diploma?

How can you change your last name in your diploma?

• someone i know divorced from her spouse and changed her last name in the process. when she sends a resume over the receiver when reviewing the resume does not do anything because when calling the college they don't find her in her old last name. we she spoke to the college so she can change her diploma for a new one with her new name but they say they are unable to do this. what can she do and and how can she change her last name on the diploma?

  I don't know how to change it - but could she perhaps put her former name on her resume in brackets next to her real name (or something) so the reviewer can look her up?
