Can I apply to take the GED despite the fact that I am a minor (17 years of age)?
-
My parents chose to home school me through high school, which has shown to be a difficult task they are failing to undertake. Is there any possible way for me to take charge and apply for the GED myself? If so, how do I go about doing this?
-
Answer:
It depends on your state. Just google GED age requirement and your state. In Michigan, you have to be 18, but you used to be able to get a waiver and take it earlier, which is what I did. I don't know if that's still the case. Best of luck to you! And congrats for taking it into your own hands!
