What is nursing school?

What does my gpa have to be in order to get into nursing school?

  • ok so im a junior in high school. my mom is a nurse, and for the most part has been be pushing me to be one as well. i understand the advantages and disadvantages of being one and it seems like a career i would really enjoy, but theres one problem. my gpa isnt the best. its a 2.375 but i will have it broughten up to a 2.5 by the time i graduate high school so now on to my question. if i plan to go to a community college for two years inorder to get my nursing degree, i have to take certain classes or prerequoisites inorder to even apply for nursing school i believe so, does the nursing programs look at your prerequoisite grades while in college or high school or both? and my second and final question is, compared to everyone else that will be going into it i understand that a 2.5 will be low but is it possible to even get in with that type of gpa if they look at my high school gpa? thanks guys i appreciate it.
