Nursing offers many benefits to those who choose it, including flexible hours, excellent hourly compensation and the chance to help people recover their health and well-being. Below are the steps that you should do to start a nursing career: 1. Complete your education. 2. Find a job. Nurses work in hospitals, nursing homes, college campuses and many other areas including home health care. 3. Make sure you have the appropriate wardrobe. Comfortable shoes that will enable you to be on your feet are a must. Nurses wear scrubs that identity them as medical personnel. 4. Review all background educational materials before you begin. 5.
