The canvas Jansport is a classic. Get the leather bottom one. It is sturdy and will last you through college and beyond. I think there is a bigger size than your traditional bookbag. Check into it. You may have guidelines to follow these days, though. YOu may need one that is see through, or made of mesh or something. Chekc your schools website for back to school lists.
