Is FIT (fashion institute of technology) hard to get into?

Any suggestions on how to get accepted to The Fashion Institute of Technology for fashion design?

• Ever since I could remember I have always dreamed of becoming a fashion designer. The Fashion Institute of Technology (F.I.T.) is my dream school and I would love to go there for fashion design. Any one have any suggestions on how to get accepted or how to better my chances to attend F.I.T.? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

  I don't know much about fashion but you should try reading this guy's article, http://www.hopelesstoharvard.com/ivy-league-admissions-guide/ Aside from the whole harvard thing he describes how you should make yourself stand out by focusing a lot of attention onto your extra curricular activities that pertain to your passion as much as possible, meaning try to mention fashion as much as possible and what you have been doing so far in that field.
